RRB NTPC 2019 First Stage CBT

Candidates can check the selection process of RRB NTPC 2019 in detail. The Computer Based Test is going to be held for all the posts.

Duration of exam – The duration of the exam scheduled to be held as a computer-based test will be 90 minutes. PWD candidates with scribes will get 120 minutes.

Number of questions – There will be 100 questions in the CBT.

Type of questions – All questions are going to be MCQ type.

Marking Scheme – For every correct answer, candidates are going to be awarded 01 marks. 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Subjects – The questions are going to be asked from:

  • General Awareness
  • Mathematics
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning

RRB NTPC 2019 Second Stage CBT

The candidates selected for the CBT stage 2 exam is 20 times more than the number of vacancies. To know the pattern of examination of CBT second phase, check the information below.

Duration of exam – CBT Stage 2 is going to be of 90 minutes. PwD Category will get 120 minutes for the CBT stage 2.

Number of questions – There will be 120 questions which will be objective type (multiple choice based)

Marking Scheme – Candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer. For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd marks are going to be deducted from the total score.

Topics – General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning. To know the distribution of question, check the table below.

RRB NTPC 2019 Cut Off

In order to qualify the Computer Based Test, candidates have to secure the cut off marks which is given in the table below.

PwD category candidates are going to get 2% of the relaxation of the marks.
