SSC Constable Recruitment - According to the recruitment scheme prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Staff Selection Commission will recruit 26,146 candidates. Online application process is underway for these posts. Eligible candidates are required to pass the examination for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR).

Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have passed Matriculation or Class X Examination from a recognized Board/University. (As on 01/01/2024)
Age Limit
Candidates should be 18-23 years of age as on 01/01/2024. This means that the candidate should not be born before 02-01-2001 and not after 01-01-2006.
Selection Process
Computer Based Examination (CBE) + Physical Standard Test (PST) + Physical Efficiency Test (PET) + Detailed Medical Examination (DME) + Documents Verification.
